Instant Pot Maple Dijon Mustard Pork Chops
Ingredients:
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 c Onions 1 onion, sliced
- 4 Pork Chops bone-in or boneless, approx. 1.25 inches thick
- 1 tbsp Avocado Oil
- 0.33 c Chicken Broth unsalted
- 0.25 c Maple Syrup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1.5 tbsp Arrowroot Powder
- 1 tsp Sea Salt
- .5 tsp Ground Black Pepper
Instructions:
- Generously season the pork chops with black pepper and salt.
- Using the SAUTE feature on your Instant Pot, add the oil and then brown pork chops for 1–2 minutes per side and remove to a plate.
- Add the onions and SAUTE for 2 minutes. Add in the garlic and SAUTE until fragrant.
- Lightly season with extra salt and pepper.
- Pour in chicken stock and fully deglaze with a wooden spoon.
- Add in maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and paprika. Mix well.
- Place browned pork chops back into the Instant Pot. Secure lid and cook at HIGH PRESSURE for 1 minute and use the natural release.
- Open the lid and set pork chops aside. Taste and season the sauce if necessary. Slowly stir in the arrowroot, or cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce until desired thickness and serve.
