AIP Korean Short Ribs
Ingredients:
- 5 bunches Green Onions chopped
- 4 cloves Garlic minced
- 3 lb Beef Short Ribs
- 0.50 c Honey
- 1 c Water
- 1 c Coconut Aminos Or Tamari
- 2 tbsp Sesame Oil
Instructions:
- Rinse the short ribs to remove any bone fragments. Place short ribs in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk to combine green onions, garlic, honey, water, coconut aminos or tamari, and sesame oil. Pour the marinade over the short ribs.
- Marinate short ribs at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Either preheat grill to high with lid closed or preheat broiler to high. If using the oven, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- When ready to cook, remove short ribs from bowl and discard marinade.
- To grill short ribs, place over direct heat and reduce temperature to medium. Turn short ribs every 3 to 5 minutes until desired doneness is achieved, approximately 30 minutes.
- To broil short ribs, place short ribs on baking sheet in a single layer. Place in the oven and broil until desired doneness is achieved, approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
- Remove short ribs from grill or oven and serve with your favorite side dish.
