Pan Fried Balsamic New Potatoes

I was messing around in the kitchen recently and emerged with this recipe: new red potatoes cooked in balsamic vinegar, bacon fat, and honey with a few additional ingredients.

It was a winner with my family and I’d love to share it with you.

You want to know a little secret? Delicious, healthy food doesn’t have to be complicated. I love simple recipes – they are the only ones I have time for! I call them Pan Fried Balsamic New Potatoes, and here’s how to make them – easy, and tasty too.

Instructions

  1. Heat up your pan to medium heat. Add your bacon grease (or preferred fat).
  2. Chop your potatoes into desired size – Hint: the smaller they are, the quicker they’ll cook!
  3. Add all ingredients to your pan and cook, covered, for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally to keep from sticking. Uncover and cook until done, maybe 10 minutes more. That’s it!

Notes

I didn’t feel the need to add any salt or pepper or other seasonings, but this is your dish – do your thing! I think you’ll love them however you do it.
