Slow Cooker Sweet Garlic Chicken
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
- .5 c Honey
- 1 tbsp Molasses
- 1 Limes juiced
- .5 c Apple Cider
- .25 c Water
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- 2 tbsp Coconut Aminos Or Tamari
- 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- .5 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes optional
- 2 tbsp Arrowroot Powder Wait to add this at the end.
- 2 tbsp Water Wait to add this at the end.
Instructions:
- Coat slow cooker with olive oil.
- Place chicken inside slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Take chicken pieces out of slow cooker and pour remaining sauce into saucepan.
- Place saucepan over high heat.
- Mix arrowroot and 2 tbsp of water, pour into saucepan, and mix well.
- Let sauce come to a boil and boil for 2–3 minutes or until it starts to thicken and turns into a glaze.
- Remove from heat and let sit for a minute or two (it will continue to thicken as it cools down).
